DESCRIPTION:SCHEDULE\nGather at FUNABORI Station: 14:30\nGather riverside 15:00\nFinishing up: 18:30 \nRIVER CLEAN UP\nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket gate\, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks for about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle \nWHAT TO BRING\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty\, and please wear long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also\, a hat is recommended\, especially during the summer months\, and please bring lots of liquids to drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some extra pairs available to loan out. \nADDITIONAL INFO:\nIf you come late\, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on the island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge iand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjjuk Line Bridge. Call my cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us. \nRAIN:\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled. Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g.\, typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled (and usually moved to a different day). \nLet’s have fun enjoying our local nature while making it better at the same time.
