Twelve ecowarriors turned out for today’s Arakawa Clean Up event at Funabori and collected 71 bags of trash (66 actual bags + equivalent 5 bags of large unbagged items). The weather was beautiful, and it was a great day to be on the river. The Dirty Angle, which we had cleaned one month ago but is notorious as the dirtiest spot on the Arakawa, kept us busy and were not able work on other places. It was a great effort by the participants, which resulted in a large volume of trash removed from the river.
