Twelve ecowarriors turned out today for the first clean up event of 2021 on the Edogawa, and we were able to make a good start to the year with 61 bags of trash (53 actual bags + roughly equivalent to 8 bags on the large items). The weather was beautiful, almost spring like albeit a bit windy at times. As has been the case recently on the Edogawa, the bags collected per person have been going down due to diminishing returns. We’ve cleaned nearly all of the really dirty area, so it takes longer to fill a bag, which is a good thing. Hopefully returns will continue to diminish.
