It was a big day on the Edogawa yesterday. Twenty volunteers collected 58 bags of trash. There was some trash left over from the typhoons a few months ago, but in general the pickings are getting slimmer because this area is getting cleaning. Meanwhile, the river stream, Tokyo Bay tides, and litter bugs continue to deposit small amounts of trash each month, which will accumulate if not collected.
