Eleven volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up at Funabori and collected 41 bags of trash. The weather was beautiful and just right for a clean up. The tide was very low early on, but came up high by the end of the event. The volume of trash has decreased and a lot of the collection was smaller fragments, so the number of bags is decreasing. There is still trash to collect there so hopefully we can take it next month if the grass growth isn’t too much.
