Nine volunteers turned out for yesterday’s Arakawa River clean up at Funabori and collected 87 bags of trash. This was quite an accomplishment as several people didn’t have the footwear to go down into the grass/mud where most of the trash was, several people left early. This new section of pods where we had cut the grass the day before was full of gomi with a lot remaining, so we will do this area again this coming Sunday on the 15th.
