Two volunteers collected 22 bags of trash at yesterday’s Tamagawa River clean up event directly across the river from Haneda Airport. Cold weater may have kept attendance down, but yesterday was a good example of what even just two people can accomplish with a large volume of trash collected. We’re continuing to work down stream toward and beyond the bridge, but a lot of new trash had accumulated in this river’s version of the Dirty Angle where a lot of trash gets trapped. This particular location has a good size cat colony, many of which were out waiting for the evening feeding from a caretaker.
