The Nadeshiko Team turned out for yesterday’s Edogawa River clean up with 9 volunteers collecting 23 bags of trash (19 actual bags + roughly equivalent of 4 bags on the large unbagged items. Special thanks to local resident Reiko who led this effort. It was beautiful weather that fit in nicely between rain the night before and rain that same night, which also cut the event a bit short. We have done a lot of work on this Edogawa mouth area over the past 4 years, so the pickings are getting slimmer but like death an taxes, it seems like there will always be gomi to collect.
