Six volunteers collected 30 bags of trash at yesterday’s Arakawa River clean up at Funabori. This was 23 actual bags and roughly 7 bags equivalent of a large items (several bags and large items added after the group photo). We mostly focused on the start of the 4th section of pods. It was crazy weather with nice sunny, hot summer weather and then rain squall came in with heavy rain blowing strongly, then back to sunshine and clear skies and then another smaller squall rolled through. Even with a small group and limited time we were still able to remove a lot of trash.
