Fourteen volunteers collected 75 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event near Nishi Kasai. That was 65 actual bags and roughly 10 bags equivalent on the large sodai gomi. Again, it was great weather and and a beautiful day to be on the river with a nice mix of regulars and newcomers. As the target area had become quite clean after the first session, participants moved to the next area past the Kasaibashi bridge and cleaned that entire strip. A big thank you to everyone for a great effort today and a big result.
