Nine volunteers turned out for yesterday’s Arakawa River clean up event and collected 66 bag of trash. After removing the bulk of the large volume of trash last week after a fresh grass cut near the tower, this week was mostly residual clean up of smaller pieces and smaller patches. During February, March and April we will continue to work back from the tower with similar residual cleaning until the grass grows back in late April and reclaims this area.
