Our first event of 2022 was a big success with 18 volunteers collecting 87 bags of trash on the Arakawa at Nishi Kasai bewteen the Kasai Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. After some below freezing weather and snow, it was a warm beautiful winter day, and we began working on a new stretch of river between the Tozai Line bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. We’ll be focusing on this area for the next 5-6 months.
