Nine volunteers collected 32 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event near Nishi Kasai. It was another mopping up effort adjacent to the Tozai Line train bridge. As there was more trash than expected we just focused on this area and did not move to a secondary target. About 30 bags seems par for mopping up events, but it was still hard to get and a lot of work by the participants. A lot of trash had to be pulled out of the mud as well as a lot of small pieces were collected. Mina-san otsukaresma.
