Five volunteers (2 Americans, 1 Briton, 1 Frenchwoman and 1 Malaysian) turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up at Funabori and collected 37 bags of trash. We had cleaned this area many times, so a lot of the bigger items had already been taken, so a lot of smaller pieces were taken today. But there were still quite a few PET bottles around the edges. The weather was cool and we just beat out a forecasted rainfall that came in right on schedule at 18:00.
