Arakawa River Clean Up (NISHI KASAI) !World Clean Up Day!

September 16th is World Cleanup Day (WCD) when many organizations will hold cleanup events all over the world. This year Tokyo River Friends will participate in this global event. Please join us, work together and let the world know what and how we do to make the world a little better!

SCHEDULE
Gather at Nishi Kasai Station: 13:00
Gather riverside 13:30
Finishing up: 17:30
RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at NISHI KASAI Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks for about about 3 5 to 4 hours.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location not far from the Kasaibashi Bridge in the upstream direction. If you need assistance, please use comment feature of meetup to reach out for help.
RAIN:
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled. Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled (and usually moved to a different day).
