Nine volunteers collected 28 bags of trash (22 actual bags + large items) at yesterday’s Arakawa River clean up event near Nishi Kasai. It was beautiful weather and another enthusiastic group. There were a few dirty spots on the edges but most of trash was either small pieces or things pulled out of the mud. We are in mopping up phase on this area with two more events to go here before the grass grows back in May. Mina-san otsukaresama!
