Nine volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up event at Funabori and collected 60 bags of trash. The weather was beautiful and the tide was super low, both which make for a good environment to clean. We had already cleaned this area many times, so the pickings were getting slimmer, but a great effort by everyone resulted in another nice haul of gomi. We will continue to clean this area through April after which the grass will have grown back the river will have reclaimed the area.
