Nine volunteers collected 125 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event near Funabori. This brought out total for 2023 to 4,009 bags of trash collected by 672 people at 61 events. With the 4,000 target in sight two people came yesterday and seven people came today. On Friday we worked on reducing a trash pile left by a homeless man living nearby. Then the first target today was the 2nd dirty angle at the end of the pod section, and after the break we moved back to the dirty angle to clean trash that had accumulated since last week. It was a great effort by everyone. Mina-san otsukaresama!
