2023 got off to great start today on the Arakawa at Funabori. Thirteen volunteers turned out and collected 140 bags of trash (128 actual bags + roughly 12 bags equivalent of large items). TRF participants were not so many but we were joined by people from Shonan Clean Aid and Kawanote Fan Club. Add in a very dirty area to the mix and it was a big result today. The third photo shows today’s result in the foreground with the Dec. 30 trash in the background 320 bags of trash in total) Again, special thanks to Onihira-san who had collected some of this trash on previous days as well as prepared the area by cutting some grass.
