Twelve volunteers collected 120 bags of trash today on the Arakawa at Funabori. It was our 3rd 100+ bag collection within the past 10 days (180 bags on Dec. 30, 140 bags on Jan. 3 and 120 bags on Jan. 8 ) . That is a total of 440 bags in 10 days, which is a monthly rate of over 1,200 bags and about 15,000 per year. I doubt we will keep up this rate, but are we killing it or what? In the last photo, you can see the results from these last 3 events as the previous bags have not been collected by the city yet. The weather was beautiful and it was a good mix of veteran and new members. We continue to work on the 3rd section of pods with a lot o trash to still remove
