Eight volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River Clean Up at Funabori and collected 40 bags of trash (37 actual bags + roughly equivalent to 3 bags for the large items) The plan had been to attack the newly cut strip on the second section of pods, but a high tide made it mostly inaccessible, so we we moved to a Plan B and focused efforts on the pods. This was some tough trash collection and a bit more time consuming, but through a great effort by the group we achieved a lot of trash collected.
