Fifteen volunteers collected 53 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa clean up event at Nishi Kasai. We worked on the final stretch before the Kasaibashi Bridge. We had previously cleaned all the way from this location to Tokyo Bay during about 6 or 7 other events. This 150 meters was freshly cut and uncovered, but it was only moderately dirty with patches of dirty spots. Amazingly we were able to clean the entire trail, but a little more cutting and some touch-up cleaning will still be necessary.
