In the first event of a double header this weekend, 30 people (24 students ages 8-11, 4 parents and 2 TRF members) cleaned the Arakawa River at Fuanabori on Saturday and collected 40 bags of trash. The students were from Scout Troupe Christophe Dejean of Lycée Français (French school in Tokyo). This was about the 4th time that TRF has hosted this group, and as before, it is heartwarming to see so many youngsters volunteering and getting involved in cleaning up their local environment. Vive la France! And special thanks to Inbe-san for stopping by to help out.
