Five volunteers collected 31 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up right next to the Tozai Line bridge near Nishi Kasai. It was 16 actual bags + roughly equivalent of 15 bags for the large items. Today was supopsed to be a final cleaning of this section, but with only five people, I think we may have to come bag to again. It was a lot of small pieces of trash along with some blankets and clothing that we pulled out of the mud. Then more than half of the large items were collected from peripheral areas. It was a lot of trash for a small group. Mina-san otsukaresama!
