Seventeen volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up and collected 63 bags of trash. It was “tag-team” cleaning today with a morning group and and afternoon group. Both targeted areas were not super dirty so participants had to work to fill bags. It was not easy getting the trash today but people were persistent and the bags gradually accumulated. Also, the tide came in quite high and pushed us out of the cleaning area, which limited the cleaning time. Mina-san otsukaresama!
