Eight volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River Clean Up at Funabori and collected 75 bags of trash. We continued work at the end of the second section of pods where a lot of trash had accumulated. The weather was nice for a while and then forecasted rain came in with intermittent sprinkles but not too bad. We were joined today by two people from Spain who organize a similar event in Spain and were just visiting their son who lives in Tokyo. I’d like to profile their group in a separate post.
