We had our second consecutive “power event” (more than 100 bags) on the Arakawa today at Funabori. Twenty volunteers collected 125 bags of trash. Once again it was beautiful weather, and as planned we were able to cut through to the end of the second section of pods and remove a large volume of trash that had accumulated there. A film crew from an upcoming documentary, film “Plastic Love” was present today and took some video footage of the event.
