In the first of two events this weekend, eight volunteers collected 45 bags of trash (39 actual bags + roughly 6 bags equivalent for large items) at yesterday’s Tamagawa River Clean Up. We cleaned the same area that we had worked on 3 times before, and it was amazing how much trash continued to come out of this area. A lot of things were inside the grass, and participants made a great effort to pull it all out. It was a nice way to start 2026 on the Tamagawa.
