Eighteen volunteers collected 62 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event. We reached a milestone by finishing the clearcutting of grass on the second section of pods along with another nice haul of gomi. But from here on our it should be diminishing returns on this area as we try to thoroughly clean it before the grass grows back at the end of April. Anyway, there was lots of hidden trash where the grass had been and a great effort by a large group today to collect such a large amount. Mina-san otsukaresama desu.
