Today (Sept. 19) was “World Clean Up Day,” and what better way to spend World Clean Up Day than a clean up event on the Edogawa River. Sixteen ecowarriors and 10 ecoyouth (i.e., 16 adults and 10 kids) collected 74 bags of trash. This was 68 actual bags and roughly another 6 bags equivalent of large unbagged items. The volume of large items was huge because we moved many items that had been collected in previous events to the riverside road. The river office had not been collecting them in their previous spot.
