We returned to the river on another hot afternoon, cooled slightly by a strong breeze. We were incredibly fortunate to welcome 14 volunteers, nearly half of them were first-timers! Thanks to our leader’s focus on grass cutting, the attacking area was well-prepared, allowing us to achieve fantastic results: a total of 46 bags collected! Well done, everyone!
During the summer, we start the event later to avoid the heat, but today, the strong wind had a sense of fall and the dusk fell quickly as we finished. It was an afternoon that reminded us the seasons are beginning to change.
